Some of you are aware that my Cousin Jade was Ashton's partner.
A young man who at 24 years old took his own life.
Ashton had a little girl with his ex-partner but due to a breakdown in communication, hadn’t seen her for some time.
Jade encouraged Ashton to fight to see his little girl as she saw how much it meant to him.
Ashton didn’t have the means to pay for his legal fees so Jade helped out by taking a personal loan to cover the costs.

Ashton very nearly gave up his fight a few times due to escalating costs, however through the love, support and financial help from Jade, the happy ending finally came. After 14 months access was granted. Ashton and Jade were so happy.
Because of the time that had passed the bond between Father and Daughter had been broken. He had last seen his baby girl the month of her 2nd birthday, which meant she had forgotten him. He was determined to build up the bond once again.
Ashton got to spend a few times with his baby girl again before he passed away.
Jade & Ashton then discovered just a few weeks ago that they were expecting a baby together.
They were so happy and looking forward to their future as a family.
No one can understand exactly why Ashton felt the need to do what he did but he now leaves behind his beautiful daughter who will never really know her Daddy.
He leaves behind a Mum and Dad who were his best friends and he leaves behind a partner, who he described as his ‘soulmate’.
The saddest part of this is, two days after Ashton took his life Jade had an early scan to check everything was going well.
She is expecting twins.
This is something Ashton will never know.

We are setting the target to £1k, however we’d LOVE to raise much more than this.
EVERY penny raised will help enormously. Unfortunately, Ashton isn't here to support his little family but he would be so proud to know we’re all looking after them in his absence.
