Story
Myself and my brother Paul, Leo's daddy have set up this page to raise funds for various Hospitals/Support Groups including the Brompton Fountain, Great Ormond Street Hospital to name a few in memory of my gorgeous cheeky nephew Leo who sadly passed away on the 23rd January 2022 aged just 3 years old.
Leo was born with mitral valve regurgitation, which is a heart condition. The mitral valve is a small flap in the heart that stops blood flowing the wrong way. Problems with it can affect how blood flows around the body.
He suffered various other health issues including obstructive Hydrocephalus which is a build-up of fluid in the brain.
Unfortunately after Christmas the pressure in Leo's brain due to the Hydrocephalus had built up and was making him poorly he was admitted to hospital shortly before New Year's Eve and was received treatment for this.
It was during this time that a clot formed on Leo's heart and unfortunately despite the best efforts from the medical staff , Leo suffered heart failure and passed away.
Leo was a very determined little boy who found his own way of doing things like his bum shuffle which he had mastered to get where he wanted to go, he always had the biggest smile on his face that would light up any room.
He will be forever missed and loved by his Daddy, Mummy and Sister along with all his Grandparents, Aunties, Uncles and Cousins.
We are so very grateful for the time we got to spend with Leo, and his Daddy has chosen these places to donate to in Leo's memory as they were always amazing in supporting Leo and his family.
Let your beautiful smile light up the sky Leo🌟.
