Story

After a recent incident involving WhatsApp at Isaac's school, I wanted to do something to encourage a continuing conversation about bullying, and raise money to help other organisations do the same. it's such a complicated subject - the difference between joking and bullying, tolerating people who are different, not victimising others in an attempt to belong, and being happy with who you are. The advent of social media has only complicated the situation further, making it ever easier for incidents to occur.

I hope that by undertaking this challenge, I will be encouraging Isaac and his friends to become more aware about bullying, help parents to keep talking about it with their kids, and hopefully raise money for the Anti-Bullying Alliance which supports schools in their efforts to do the same.

Isaac and I will be cycling the Tarka Trail (50km) on 22nd June. We hope that by joining us, or sponsoring us, our friends and their families will show that they too are committed to helping the next generation to be kind to each other and help the Anti-Bullying Alliance do the same.
