Story
Over 270,000 people have fled from Myanmar to Bangladesh in recent days, Muslim Aid said today, as it called for a halt to the violence and urged the international community to do everything possible to ensure humanitarian access to the refugees.
Bangladesh, the only neighbouring country where they are seeking safety, are instead pushed back to Myanmar.
Since they are cut off from food and medical care, delaying help will be fatal for the displaced. Starvation and death without medical care is imminent.
Quran & Sunnah Academy (QASA) has launched the “Myanmar Emergency Appeal” to help raise funds for the crisis.
Until our official charity fundraising page is established, QASA is going to raise funds through the founder and chairman's Just Giving Page (Bilal Ahmed).
Quran & Sunnah Academy Mission:
Inspired by Islamic humanitarian values, Quran and Sunnah Academy aims to help meet the needs of vulnerable people and empower them to become self-reliant so that they can live with dignity and confidence.
We help individuals, groups and institutions to develop safe and caring communities and make it possible for those who wish to support others to reach people in need of their help.
