I want to raise money to start a local weekly football game for Muslim brothers. I want to create a safe environment where Muslims can meet weekly and grow together in their Deen and support one another while having fun. As a revert to Islam I have found it hard to meet other Muslims my age. I want to be around more positive people to help guide me and keep me on the path of Islam. I am sure there are others like me be they reverts, born Muslim or interested in Islam that are looking for similar things. This space will create a positive environment for brother to meet, pray together and play football. Although I have been Muslim for 4 years now I still have a lot to learn and I am sure other brothers feel the same as Islam is a life long journey. I would like to make this journey surrounded by positive Muslims and I feel that the community needs this. it will help build a strong brotherhood and support system while keeping fit and healthy. The money raised is to hire the pitch which costs £180 a month for 4 sessions. I currently have 12 brothers interested in starting and hopefully this will grow more in the future In Sha Allah.
