Story

I'm cycling from Land's End to John o' Groats and supporting Christians in Science (CiS - www.cis.org.uk), a UK-based charitable organisation that brings together those interested in the interaction of science and Christian faith, two big components of my own life. CiS provides online and other resources for scientists, students, churches and the general public, organises conferences and other events, and operates at national and regional levels. In its 80th anniversary year it is looking to the future and exploring approaches to increase its effectiveness, enhance its activities, and develop fruitful interactions with other science/faith groups. New initiatives can be aided by extra funding, for example by making short-term appointments for specific tasks, enhancing online resources, or covering the costs of special events. As current Chair of Trustees of CiS (UK registered charity number 1121422) I am using this opportunity to raise additional contributions to help this year's renewal project by cycling in September 2024 from Land's End to John o' Groats (approximately 1000 miles). Could this inspire you to make a donation?
