Weʼve raised £1,245 to donate to the Vision Bharat UK Charity, after completing the London to Paris Cycling Challenge, in June 2019!
- Reading, England
- Funded on Sunday, 7th July 2019
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
To help fundraise for Vision Bharat UK, a charity very close to heart - I have decided to push myself to my limits by cycling 311 miles, over 4 days from London to Paris, with Global Adventure Challenges, from the 5th to the 9th of June 2019! I am super excited and have been building stamina for this epic route all year and would greatly appreciate your support by donating!
Vision Bharat UK is a non-profit organisation. Their aim is to provide free eye care and treatment to people who are from under privileged backgrounds in India and have no means to pay for any treatment. Giving sight can make a huge impact and improve quality of life for the individual, families and their communities. Each year, volunteers travel to the poorest areas of India and provide doctor services, cataract operations, after care, medicines, glasses etc. In previous years, volunteers visited areas such as Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab and Mumbai. Last year, for the first time, they went outside of India to Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka! This year they are planning on heading back to Sri Lanka and they need our help to fundraise!
Any amount donated will make a HUGE difference, so please donate whatever you can! For more information about the charity, please visit: www.visionbharatuk.com
