Story

On Friday 8th August, I’ll be pushing myself to the limit as I take on the Three Peaks Challenge - climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon - the highest mountains in Scotland, England, and Wales SOLO - all within just 24 hours.

It’s going to be one of the biggest physical and mental challenges I’ve ever faced, but I’m not doing it just for the thrill. I’m doing it to raise vital funds for the Portable Sensory Trolley Campaign at Russell’s Hall Hospital – an amazing initiative that brings comfort, stimulation, and joy to children with life-limiting conditions. Whilst previously visiting to donate easter eggs as part of our easter initiative, I heard all about the support and early years guidance they provide. When there was mention of this sensory trolley being needed, I just had to get involved. These mobile sensory units provide much-needed relief and support during some of the toughest times for these children and their families.

Every bit of encouragement means the world, and together, we can make a real difference. Let’s turn every step, every climb, and every peak into a moment of hope for the people who need it most!

The total goal is £8,000 and will be working towards raising the money for this in multiple steps (mind the pun) and putting as much into this goal as we physically can.
