Story

I am fundrasing for Operation Wallacea. It is an organisation that bases itself in many dIfferent countries, researching and developing ways to sustain ecosystems and natural habitats within the countries. I will be volunteering and helping out in Honduras, researching and collecting data for scientists to collect to help manage the ecosystems. Operation Wallacea is a conservation research organisation that monitors ecosystems, identify any threats that may be a problem to these ecosystems and monitoring the effects of conservation on these ecosystems. Operation Wallacea educates people in the growing problems that face our planet and especially our ecosystems, it helps raise awareness of the harm that humans can bring to our planet. For example, climate change and loose plastics are destroying the polar and marine ecosystems, and soon it’ll be the jungle and grassland ecosystems being destroyed. But these are becoming less and less likely due to the huge work and research that Operation Wallacea put in. Without Operation Wallacea or similar organisations, our planet and ecosystems would have already been destroyed, so please consider helping this organisation out, it helps make a change.

For my fundraising, I will be setting up small cake sales and working with friends to set up stools to sell homemade produce (i.e cakes and drinks).
