Billy-Blue Wilson was born on 5th April 2019. Soon after birth Billy became unwell and a serious complex congenital heart defect was diagnosed. He was transferred to a cardiac intensive care unit which is where he spent the whole 123 days of his life. Billy-Blue survived 2 open heart surgeries and 3 cardiac catheter procedures. Billy gained strength and was showing signs of improvement. He was beginning to breath unsupported and his heart function had improved. Suddenly on Tuesday 6th August 2019 Billy-Blue suffered a sudden fatal cardiac arrest.

Billy-Blue was a truely special little boy. Everyone that met him fell in love with him instantly. His fight and determination astounded everyone and we are heart broken.

No parent should ever have to plan a funeral for their child, but this is our next step in this horrific journey. We would like to raise money to give Billy-Blue the funeral he deserves we want to celebrate our boy and celebrate his life. Show the world we are proud of our amazing son.

Amongst all this tragedy Billy-Blue's brother and sister have done us proud. They have loved Billy with all their hearts and would come and stay with us at the hospital most weekends to be with him. There world has now changed forever and they are devastated they have lost their baby brother. We would like to raise some money to enable us to give them additional support to help them cope with their grief. We would like to be able to take them to the seaside and show them life can be good again.
