Story

So I've been contemplating posting this for a little while as I would never normally post such personal, emotional and private photos, but this is our super hero Billy Dean. Some people reading this will be familiar with what Billy has gone through but I wanted to share some of it in hope of raising money for 3 incredible charities, who without quite simply, Billy would not be here with us today. They are The British Heart Foundation, The Grand Appeal and The Ronald McDonald Charity House.
Billy is one of a twin and he was born with a life threatening heart condition and over the last 18 months has undergone 4 open heart surgeries, the most recent being just 3 weeks ago at Bristol Children's Hospital. There will never be any words as a parent to describe how horrendous and petrifying it is when your baby goes for such major, life saving surgery but every single wonderful member of staff including the incredible surgeons, anaesthetists, consultants, doctors, nurses and the staff at the Ronald McDonald House who we have met along the way have all made our journey with Billy that little bit easier to bear and quite simply saved our little boys life. Although its not the end of Billy's story, as he grows he will need further heart surgeries which means our journey isn't over yet. Sending these charities a thank you card just doesn't seem enough. We are hoping with your help to raise as much money as possible for the above 3 charities, who are saving thousands of babies/childrens lives every year and accommodating families when they are going through traumatic times. If we can raise money to help keep these charities going and help families who are going through similar circumstances right now would be incredible. Please help us. Thank you so much and thank you for taking the time to read this post. Emma and Lee x
