This year has been an exhausting one as Billy has been in and out of the vets nearly every month for three months. Billy didn't have the best start in life, he was abandoned near York and after several weeks of trying to fend for himself when he as finally rescued and came to live with me. He was just skin and bone and very, very frightened, but he slowly came to trust me and his two companions, rescued greyhounds Molly and Joe. But last year we lost Molly and Joe to cancer. So Billy is on his own now and he has been depressed and his health has deteriorated. I've sold everything I can to pay for his vet bills and this latest health problem is the last straw, I've just paid £150 last week for blood tests and antibiotics.
