!!!!! UPDATE !!!!!

The last batch of money (£1000) has been sent off to the supplier, this will be used to buy the bricks and mortar required to build the reserve tank around the water source, around 1km from the village. Next on the agenda is to buy a CEMENT MIXER. This will be used for the water project but also used by all of the villagers still rebuilding their homes after the earthquake back in April 2015. This will become most useful tool the villagers have in their aim to get their lives back on track.

As always thanks so much to everyone who has donated to this cause, from the bottom of my heart I thank you!! Ian

=============================================================

We're close now folks! With the help you've already given, the pipe materials for Bimiri's water supply have been ordered and shipped. All that's left now is to get hold of some bricks and mortar so the lads can get to work on the reserve tack around the water source. As soon as that's in, they'll be pumping fresh water straight to the village, for the first time in Bimiri's history!

The generosity of everyone who has donated to this cause already will never be forgotten, either by myself or the villagers there. The amount we need now is a drop in the ocean compared to what your kindness has already raised, so whether you donated before or missed out last time, if you can see your way to an extra bit now, anything you can manage will be truly appreciated.

So close!
