I've raised £200 to Evelyn Primary School and Aching Arms

As a mum of a student at Evelyn Primary school, I see the motivation and hard work that goes into making it wonderful place to learn. The school has a fund that benefits all children. It pays to subsidise trips, enhances lessons by means of extra resources, pays for activities, special events and buys school equipment.
Another cause which is close to my heart is Aching Arms, a charity that brings comfort to bereaved parents and families after the loss of baby. Knowing people who have benefitted from the good work that they do, I would like to give something back to enable them to continue.
I learnt to swim 4 years ago and want to set myself a new challenge. I have decided that I want to attempt to swim 5k!
The extra motivation of doing this for good causes, will help me overcome the many health challenges that I face daily and help me achieve my goal.
I appreciate that not everyone will be able to donate, but if you can, no matter how much, it would be gratefully received! Donations will be divided equally between the school and Aching Arms.
A massive thank you to Volair Huyton for supporting me by donating my swim lane.
