Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
8 years ago I had the opportunity to travel to Tanzania to work with an amazing group of women from the Masai tribe on Economic Generating Activities.
The founder of the charity I worked for Mr Wilfred Ngima is so motivated to changing these women's life, I have been in touch with the group since I got back. Mr Ngima and his team has manage to reach out to more and more women in extremely hard to reach areas, providing seeds, training and still running the VICOBA (Village community bank) program.
This organisation has changed lives and they've seen so much results and have not only helped the women but the program has also benefited their entire family. By being part of the program, they can afford to send their children to school and also provide for their families. The women work hand in hand with their husbands to grow their businesses even more.
Today is international women's day and I urge you to please help me raise funds to keep supporting these women. Your donation, help and support is very much appreciated because indeed EVERY LITTLE HELPS!
