We are three young girls who attend West Park Primary School in Nottage, Porthcawl and we are in our final year which is Year 6.

We recently learned that a former pupil Scott Richards, who is the son of a staff member has a non curable Stage 4 Brain Tumour and he and his partner Laura have compiled a Bucket List of things they would like to do with the time they have left together.

We have enjoyed wonderful years at West Park and during our time at school we have been taught about caring, compassion, sharing and respect all values that we hope we have fully undertaken and learnt.

The three of us would very much like to help Scott and Laura and we are holding our birthday parties together to invite all our Year 6 friends to celebrate with us and we are asking for no presents or cards but if you could kindly donate monies to our fund raising page so that we can present the monies to Scott.

There will be a beautiful wishing tree at the entrance to the party and we would be so grateful if you could write a little wish to Scott and place it on the tree for him.

We are aiming to raise £1,500 and this money will be for Scott and Laura to go to Florida. The money will hopefully pay for both their flights with car hire as accommodation has been sorted.

To our fantastic friends at West Park we hope you will support us in reaching our target for Scott. We have known each other since nursery where everything was such a big adventure for us. Some of us remember The Thinking Fish so well, others, the Striped Tights we loved to share. As we are approaching our next new adventure it is our wish that we remain as close in the future as we have always been in the past.
