BROTHERS IN ARMS

Namaste and Hello Everyone,

Thank you very much for visiting our JustGiving page.

Two soldiers from 30th Signal Regiment, LCpl Bisal Gurung and LCpl Krish Gurung are running 5 km each and every day for 6 months whilst on an Operational tour in memory of the late Signaller Rupesh Limbu, who lost his life in RTA during leave in his beloved Nepal.

Rupesh Limbu was a serving soldier in the Queens Gurkha Signals. He was a great athlete, phenomenal dancer, and most importantly an incredible human being. Although he served just under 3 years as a Gurkha soldier, he was well renowned amongst his peer group. As a young soldier, he has achieved almost everything; the top Gurkha trainee and best tradesman accolades are just a few examples of this.

“Death is tough for the people left behind on earth.”

As the only son in his family, it must have been very hard for the grieving family and friends. We are deeply saddened by the news of Rupesh bhai passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May the love of family and friends comfort you during these difficult days, our most heartfelt condolences. We are truly sorry to hear of the loss.

Your fundraising will make a massive difference in the lives of Rupesh Limbu’s family.

One of the things that has given us strength is the idea of raising money to help change the support that is offered to bereaved parents immediately after losing a child, especially in sudden and traumatic circumstances.

Please help us in raising funds for a worthy cause and in honour of a great soldier, friend and son.

Thank you for your support,

Bisal & Krish
