Story

SAD NEWS: On what should be a day full of laughter, fun and festive spirit for us all, we arrived this morning to find the school’s outdoor Reception class area has been vandalised overnight.
Storage sheds have been broken into and valuable play resources including books, pens, paint and bean bags destroyed and littered across the entire area. The children’s bikes have been thrown across the playground and their brand-new water tray filled with a concoction of paint, sand, rice, pens and pencils. If this wasn’t all upsetting enough, foul and abusive graffiti is scrawled on surfaces including the children’s outdoor easels.
It’s been a challenging term and we were all looking forward to a happy last day of term. We're shocked and deeply saddened by what has happened. Over £500 worth of play resources are gone and as always, it’s the innocent who are the victims. Our children now have no toys and equipment and staff, who have worked tirelessly this term, are now faced with foregoing the Christmas cheer to clean up the mess.
If anyone has any information that may help identify the perpetrators, please call 101 and quote crime number CR105561/20. Thank you for your support. Head of School/Mrs French.
