Story
Rémi Evans Davis played for the Buccaneers and Bishopston United since Year 5 at Bishop Road Primary. Remi understood that for a team to work you need everyone to contribute to a collective effort. And no matter how good one player is, they are nothing without their team mates. Remi knew this and enjoyed being part of his team. He enjoyed living through the highs and lows of playing sport together. Remi also understood that being part of a team needs perseverance and commitment. Remi turned up to training every week, listened to his coaches, tried his best and accepted his often substitute role with good grace and fortitude. Remi collapsed with no warning and died in Tyntesfield cafe in December 2016 with Mum, Dad and sisters with him, after the 2km family fun run they all did having played a match for Bishopston United earlier that day.
To celebrate Remi's life and time with Bishopston United, we have set up this just giving site to raise funds to purchase a defibrillator in his memory to be located at Bishop Road School field, so that anyone can use it in an emergency, in a place that Remi spent many a summers day.
