Black owned businesses have often lacked visibility and longevity in the county. Over 50% of black owned business do no survive past the 7th year compare to 17% of other ethnicity. Covid-19 has made this worse. Many black businesses will die due to lack of awareness and funds. Black owned Leicester seeks to create brand awareness and contribute to solutions to challenges influencing these businesses. The aim is to build customer trust and encourage networking
