Story

🏔️ Blackpool Wren Rovers Charity Trek: Everest Base Camp 2026

In April 2026, I’ll be lacing up my boots and heading to the Himalayas to take on one of the world’s most iconic challenges — the trek to Mount Everest Base Camp — all in support of Blackpool Wren Rovers Football Club.

This isn’t just a personal adventure. It’s a mission to raise vital funds for our beloved community club, helping us invest in facilities, youth development, and the future of grassroots football in Blackpool.

Why Everest Base Camp?

At 5,364 metres above sea level, Everest Base Camp is a test of endurance, spirit, and determination. The 12-day trek will take me through rugged terrain, remote villages, and breathtaking landscapes — all to reach the foot of the world’s highest peak.

Every step I take will be powered by your support and the pride of representing Blackpool Wren Rovers.

How You Can Help

💛 Donate: Every pound raised goes directly to the club. (I am funding the trip myself and will not be taking anything from the donations).

📣 Spread the Word: Share this fundraiser with friends, family, and fellow football fans.

⚽ Support the Club: Whether you’re a lifelong supporter or new to the Wren Rovers family, your contribution helps us grow stronger.
