Welcome to the Walking With Dementia - From the Forest, With the Forest, To the Forest!

At 2 pm on Sunday 27th August, a team of walkers (35 to date) will be walking 5K from the Forest Recreation Ground to Nottingham Forest FC to raise funds for our brand new charity - Bloomin Dementia.

The idea is to walk with some of those unfortunate to have dementia... for the participants this is most appealing! It will show that together we can do something so positive to help sufferers of this heart-breaking disease!

The walk has really captured the imagination and will take in some of the history of Nottingham Forest by passing significant related landmarks on the way through Nottingham City Centre.

On the day we will also be joined by some the legends of the European Cup Winning team of the late 70's. Theses guys are more than happy to be part of our team effort! It all makes for a great occasion!

The walk will be fun, inclusive, very entertaining and, of course very worthwhile... we will of course be raising vital funds but also spreading the word about Dementia and our new charity.

If you would like to take part all we ask is that you pay a £10 race fee... we promise lots of value in terms of goody bags, t-shirts, food, water, entertainment etc. And to raise a minimum of £50 via this Just Giving Page... We will then do all we can to create a real event day experience! Any more than £50 would be a real bonus and gratefully appreciated!
