Story
In January our pupils were visiting Ikea when our adapted minibus was stolen from the car park. Yes we had insurance, but the small amount that we have been paid out will not be enough to buy a new bus. We have wonderful pupils aged between 3-19 years, all of whom have a severe learning difficulty. Our pupils also have other various diagnosis’ including PMLD, Autism, Visual Impairment and Complex Needs. Our minibus is a crucial element of the adapted curriculum, it enables our pupils to access a curriculum that encourages and supports independent life-long learning. The bus was fully adapted so that all our pupils, despite their needs, would be able to access the community. We have been over whelmed with the support that we have received so far but we have a long way to go! We are going to be carrying out a variety of fundraising events over the coming months to help raise the funds and have also set up a crowdfunding page. Any amount that you are able to donate will make a difference:
We cannot thank everyone enough for their continued support!
