Whilst serving police dogs have the cost of any medical care and treatment paid for by the force, once retired these costs fall to the handler/new owner. Often these costs can mount up and can effect what treatment is within the owners reach.

These dogs have served and protected and deserve support to ensure that they can go on receiving any care required.
