Story

In March 2017 I was diagnosed with agressive breast cancer. After two operations, 6 cycles of chemotherapy and 20 sessions of radiotherapy I finished my cancer treatment October 2017. I have experienced first hand the difficulties staff and patients have to cope with in the very small unit. Demand is high and it is predicted it will increase year on year. A bigger unit would give patients more privacy and comfort and would give the staff a better working environment. Please help by supporting my ‘once in a life time’ hike to Machu Picchu!!! All the money raised on this page will go towards the unit.
