Story

During these unprecedented times, the impact of COVID-19 is expected to have a devastating impact across UK, with a growing number of deaths per day. This will significantly impact the bereaved families.

BMBC are training volunteers and setting up a Free of Charge Ghusl and Kafn Project. This will require setting up satellite sites and performing Ghusl using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for those volunteering to help (similar to that used in NHS).

Please help this cause and support through Lillah and Sadaqah donations. Zakat donations are not eligible for this work.

Please note ALL funds will be transferred to BMBC. This is an interim page until the BMBC Charity JustGiving page is setup.

4 weeks into the project... Alhumdulillah, we have been overwhelmed by the support Locally and Nationally, reaching over £25k today. Through your help over the month, we have now; - performed ghusl and kafn for loved ones- purchased Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for volunteers - trained 200 volunteers to safely participate in ghusl and kafn We pray the loved ones reach the highest ranks of Jannah and for the protection of the ummah against all illnesses and hardships. Ameen

1 week into the project... Alhumdulillah, we have been overwhelmed by the support Locally and Nationally, reaching £18k today. Through your help over the last 7 days, we have now; - performed ghusl and kafn for 10 loved ones - purchased Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for volunteers - trained over 130 volunteers to safely participate in ghusl and kafn We pray the loved ones reach the highest ranks of Jannah and for the protection of the ummah against all illnesses and hardships.
