Story
The aim of the fund is to create a permanent memorial to all coal miners killed in the Burnley area. The council are in talks with us about a suitable site and we are hoping to be able to engrave the names of over 300 of our local Miners.

6 years agoSo far we have arranged to have a Tombola stall at the May Day event at Towneley on the 7th of May, a Car Boot sale in Clitheroe and a Tombola stall at Burnley Campus. Dates and venues for these can be found in the events section of our Facebook Group. Thank you to all who have donated via Crowdfunding.
