We are locals and volunteer at Board in the City, and we love it. We know so many people that come in regularly to play board and games and some that come in just to eat. The staff are so amazing and many of them are unpaid volunteers. The facilities are amazing with around 700 board games in house. Because the café is non-profit it maninly relies on donations to keep it running in the same way that it does now. Mainly, we just want to give something back to a place that has given us and many others so much in the past and will hopefully continue to do so well into the future, which is one of the main reasons why we want to keep this a secret so that we can do something amazing.
