I've raised £2000 to help fund our National Theatre Connections Journey!!

The Boaty Theatre Company was formed in 2010 when we took a group of kids and turned them into the starts of the boards. We believe that everyone, regardless of their background deserves a chance to reach their true potential and achieve their dreams. Funding ran put for the Boaty in 2014 and since then we formed Chalice Productions to enable us to continue our work and help the young people we had under our wing follow their dreams...culminating in us running a season of Shakespeare plays at St.Georges Hall in Liverpool last year and being invited o take part in the Manchester pride 'fringe' events this year. Alas our young people have all grown up and gone off to various university and college courses throughout the UK so we decided that the time was right to start again!!
We have been given a fantastic opportunity to work with the National Theatre as part of their Connections programme, taking part in the connections festival and working with some of the best known writers and directors NT has to offer, as well as performing in some of the best known theatres in the country!

We currently don't charge a weekly fee or a membership for our young people, but instead rely on funding and the work we do with Chalice Productions to help us reach our goals! The money will be put towards costume and props, transport and equipment we might need along the way! Every single penny counts, so even the smallest donation will have an impact on our target!
