Bob (Robert Hoare) sadly passed away 08/04/23 due to final stage heart failure. Bob worked as a door supervisor for over 30 years ensuring customers, staff and fellow door supervisors got home safe at the end of each night.
Unfortunately Bob had to retire from the door aged 62 due to heart failure. The last year has been a real struggle for Bob, and his partner who quit work to care for Bob full time.
Despite her best efforts and that of the NHS Bob sadly but peacefully passed away at home with his partner.

I am hoping some brothers and sisters from the doors will contribute to help give Bob a send off worthy of the hero he was.

Any additional money raised will go towards a commemorative bench at a venue he worked at and held dear. If further funds are raised they will be donated to the British Heart Foundation.
