Help Me Raise Vital Funds for Fauna Mountain Cat Rescue
Hi everyone,
I’m fundraising for Fauna Mountain Cat Rescue, a sanctuary that gives abandoned, stray, and mistreated cats the chance to feel safe, loved, and cared for – something very close to my heart.
Why? Because I’ve seen first-hand how important this work is.
I have two incredible rescue cats who’ve completely changed my life. Echo (affectionately known as Egg 🤣) was a 7-week-old stray when I brought her home, scared and unsure of humans. With patience and love, she’s blossomed into the cheekiest little companion. And then there’s Jerry, my beautiful 16-year-old boy, who came to me after surviving being shot by a farmer. He’s proof of the resilience and trust cats can find again when given a second chance.
I’ve also had the privilege of working with the RSPCA in Cheltenham and Gloucestershire, where I saw the incredible highs – a once-neglected cat learning to trust again – and the heartbreaking lows of rescue work. I loved every moment of helping these animals, but due to extenuating circumstances, I had to step away earlier this year.
This fundraiser is more than just about money – it’s about raising awareness of the vital work rescue centres like Fauna Mountain do. I’ll also be sharing some little videos and stories about my experiences in cat rescue – the good, the bad, and the heartwarming. As well as videos of my training journey in the lead-up to this event. I’m doing this to prove that any normal everyday person can do good and raise awareness and finances if they really want to help. This is to show just how important it is that cats across not only the UK but globally, receive the love and treatment they deserve.
Every penny you give will go directly to helping Fauna Mountain Cat Rescue continue their incredible work – rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats who need a lifeline.
If you can, please donate and share this fundraiser. Together, we can make a real difference.
Thank you so much,
Bobby Hopkins
