We have just set up the first ever girls teams at Golborne Parkside and need to kit both teams out with playing kit and training kit. Bob and Lee have had a beard for as long as we can remember and are going to do MOVEMBER in reverse and shave our beards off. Bob will remain cleanly shaven throughout the month while Lee will be sporting a tash. Our other male coach Chris will be shaving his head right down to the wood.
Setting up 2 girls teams has helped girls that have been struggling with their mental health and has given them some focus and direction. People negatively affected through lockdown have found a new lease of life and are now intergrating and enjoying a sport they had never played before. Being able to provide the girls with a new kit, instead of them wearing old teams hand me downs that don't fit will give them a great sense of achievement going into the 2023 season. They have been working so hard in training, getting a new kit will be the icing on the cake for this wonderful group.
