Story

Andy's Man Club began on social media after Andy Roberts, a rugby playing father of one, took his own life.

His friends and family knew he'd suffered some personal difficulties but didn't know how bad things were. They were shocked and devastated when Andy committed suicide.

From this tragedy, his brother-in-law, Luke Ambler, began Andy's Man Club in Halifax, as a safe place for men to come and talk about their issues.

They have gone from strength to strength and, at the time of writing, have 17 clubs across the UK, where men can go and open up about their problems.

We had a recent visit to our workplace where a couple of the guys gave a very emotional presentation about what they do and why they do it. Their bravery was immense, so a few of my friends and I will be growing moustaches during Movember to raise money for this very worthy cause.

AMC is run completely by volunteers and has recently become a registered charity. There is no JustGiving page for the club, so we're raising the money as a CrowdFund instead.

Please give whatever you can.
