We are a passionate group of runners and parents who share a dream of creating a junior parkrun event in Burnham-on-Crouch.

Parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs around the world. They are open to everyone, free, and are safe and easy to take part in.

Burnham on Crouch parkrun takes place at Millfields Country Park every Saturday morning.

In 2013 parkrun launched junior parkrun, 2km events that are open to runners aged between 4-14. There are now 137 events in the UK

We have permission to use the Millfields Country Park but we need to raise £4,000 start-up fee required by parkrun to cover the costs of new events, such as insurance, defibrillator and equipment.

Burnham On Crouch junior parkrun would provide a healthy, fun and safe environment for youngsters to come along, enjoy themselves, and make new friends.
