Weʼve raised £202 to replace a windmill sail

Funded on Thursday, 1st October 2020

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Bocking Windmill is a postmill and roundhouse which was built in 1721. It is maintained by the friends of Bocking Windmill, a group of volunteers who open the windmill for the enjoyment of visitors at no cost.

During a recent repaint of the Mill it was identified that one of the sails on the Mill will need completely replacing. It is estimated that will cost around £12,000.

In order to fund this we have set up this page to invite donations.

Windmills are few and far between so looking after the ones we have is a very worthy cause.
