Story

Boho Boxmoor is a local community group based in Boxmoor, Hemel Hempstead. Each year they organise community events, such as a village Christmas Tree and an Easter Egg Hunt, to bring the local community together and have fun. They also organise community gardening days to improve the local area and have run a number of campaigns to help reduce dog poo in the local area. For the past 3 years, the local council have funded the insurance to allow all of these events and community projects to go ahead. However, this year, the council have had to make cut-backs which unfortunately means that there is no funding for Boho Boxmoor's insurance. This means that none of the events or community projects can continue.

However, there is hope! A local resident, the wonderful Paul Woodley, has very generously offered to raise money on behalf of Boho Boxmoor by hiking the Dodentacht - one of the most important hiking happenings in Europe. It is a long distance hike of 100km organised in Bornem, Belgium and takes place on 9th August 2018. The motto of the Dodentacht is 'Walking for a better world'. By raising the money to cover the Boho Boxmoor insurance, he will be helping make a small community, a much better place.

So, please help Paul to help Boho Boxmoor! By donating to this worthy cause, you will keep the wonderful community spirit of Boxmoor thriving.
