We are a charity that helps and supports people with learning disabilities , challenging behaviour and austim. For quite some years we have had one main base in Bedford from which we organised the day to day running of the charity . This building is not suitable any more due to health and safety reasons . We have a new building and planning permission to make it big enough to support everyone in the charity and be able take more people from Bedford area . This will also mean that we will all be back in one place rather than be in small groups placed in different areas of Bedford .
If you could donate small or large amounts any thing would be appreciated you would be helping to make our clients lives so much better without our charity many of our guys would never leave the house . This is a unique charity and does hope to fund it's self as soon as we raise the money for the new building . Please help us even just a pound everything helps we really need to start building with in the next year all our current premises are just temporary we can not stay in them forever.

‘Independent’ living for us is still having someone to help us with such
things as paying bills, doing the shopping, housework, reading letters.
We are trying but some of us will never get there on our own.
We want to choose who we live with and where just like you can.
We want to go out to work like you but for most of us this will not happen.
Not all of us can read and write – most of us will never drive a car.
Freedom of choice and the ability to make informed choice is not ours.
We want to have intimate relationships, maybe have children,
but very few of us will.
We live next door to you but in a different world.
We have been hidden in institutions for decades and want to be part of your society, just like you.
