Hello my name is Lola Tambling i am 9 years old and i'm going to be shaving my head to raise money for the Childrens Cancer unit at plymouth derriford hospital and Skateistan- empowering young people through skateboarding

I lost my beautiful Grandma Jackie 2 months back who died from Cancer she was so brave and i really loved her and i wanted to learn more about what she was going through and when i looked into this i couldn't believe it but young children like me also get Cancer and i felt so sad and also thinking how brave they are i also saw that they sometimes they lose there hair like my Grandma did and i wondered how that must make them feel and i want to be part of it because they are still normal children who don't have a choice with this, and i think it doesnt matter what you look like its whats inside that counts #BOLDISBEAUTIFUL and i just want to do something to help make a difference for them and there families

they need equipment to help make them feel better and toys and bright rooms to help cheer them up and sometimes there families need support with travel or a place to stay so they can be nearer to there children.

My other Charity i'm raising for is Skateistan, this is an awesome charity who support young children in Pakistan, Cambodia and Africa using Skateboarding as a tool to support them with there confidence and education helping them to move on to better things in there life, i'm a Skater and i love it and its really helped me with my confidence and meeting new friends and having fun times and i know how much you can get out skating.

so please please help me raise as much funds as possible to help support both of these great Charities to give children as young as me a fighting chance in life, to happier and brighter times.
