I've raised £1000 to help Bolera Palms School

Having just returned from the most inspirational trip of my life as a volunteer, I am reaching out to my family and friends to help me give back to the amazing community of Bolera Palms. I only spent a month at Bolera Palms, Mangochi in Malawi and, in that one month, I met some incredibly special and humble people who always had smiles on their faces, making my worries in life seem so small and insignificant.
I honestly am so grateful to have followed the path to Malawi, so much so that I will be returning in April. I knew the day I landed there that a month was not going to suffice. I highly recommend if you have a chance to come and join us, or do any sort of abroad volunteering, it's life changing...
The collection will go towards school fees, teacher training, school supplies, maize for breakfast, uniforms, school maintenance, medical supplies, and upgrading the volunteer house.
The volunteer house is where we volunteers stay. We have a vision to upgrade the volunteer house and reach out to other projects in the area who need to house their volunteers, this will also generate income for the school. Every little penny does seriously help. School fees costs £10 per term, £30 for a full year for one child. The children are so eager to learn and are extremely grateful for everything that has been given to them! The school provides the children with porridge in the morning and, for some of them, that is the only meal they will have that day.
On my return in April, I will be taking some donated clothes and school supplies with me, if you would like to donate clothes or any educational supplies then please message me.
Thank you for all your love and support!!
Much love
Kay
