Story

As a family who know firsthand the horrendous struggle of loving someone with a cancer diagnosis, we have decided to take a step out of our comfort zone and take on one of the 10 top extreme rock climbing adventure routes.

Mum, Dad and daughter Lauren will be tackling the 4 hour long trek to the top of the The Lake District Mountain, which is 9x higher than ‘The Big One’; before taking the stomach turning journey across a single wire between the steep outer inclines of Fleetwith Pike.

We will be following the old miners track in loving memory of Lillian Gleave; an exceptional mother and grandma who was taken far soon soon after losing a cruel battle with lung cancer.

All money raised will therefore be donated to cancer charity CARES who are dedicated to advancing research, early assessment and treatment for those in similar circumstances.

We would appreciate any donation, large or small to make our venture a worthwhile experience and something Lillian would be beyond proud of.
