    Story

    Dear friends,

Bond Chen is a valuable member of the architecture team in the Shanghai office who has worked for Vermeg for more than 10 years. He is a dedicated employee and has earned numerous awards for his hard work, positive attitude, and strong character over his career.

He has a happy young family with two young daughters, but recently, his wife was diagnosed with acute leukemia at the end of 2018. After several rounds of chemotherapy, hope faded and there were few, if any, options.

However, Bond's wife was able to find a donor through China's bone marrow program. She entered transplant isolation in early April, and the operation was a success on 16th April. She is currently undergoing treatment and recovering from the grueling transplant process as she continues her fight against leukemia.

The costs were enormous, and even with social assistance from the Chinese government, Bond's friends and family have sacrificed of themselves greatly.

    Now it's our turn.

The Shanghai office came together internally to help Bond and his family and was able to raise almost ¥110,000 RMB ($16,000 USD).

But there is still a gap of

    ¥ 200,000 RMB ($30,000 USD)

Dear friends, we are a group with love, we are a company that advocates to help others. Here, I would like to ask everyone to extend a loving hand to help Bond’s little family, which will turn Vermeg into a big beautiful family.

If the fund raising goal is not reached to cover the costs, Vermeg will help Bond to find the best way to quickly cover the remaining gap.

      Update from the Page owner

Once again, we proved we are a family, no matter the distance between our offices and countries. Your generosity and support helped our colleague to continue treatment for his wife, and now, we all feel it is appropriate to close the donation page on the justgiving.com website. On his behalf and on behalf of all Vermeg, we would like to thank each of you for your kindness and concern. Please join us in wishing her quick recovery. With gratitude, Vermeg Shanghai
