My Aunt and Uncle, Rosita and Elpidio Bonifacio have lived in Grenfell for more than 40 years.

On behalf of the Fernandez family, we cannot even imagine how traumatic the experience has been, but to know that all of their belongings are gone is heart breaking.

We are praying intensely for our Uncle's full recovery

We are delighted to let everyone know that Uncle Elpie is now out of hospital and starting to feel a lot better. He and our Aunty Rosita have been re-homed and are hoping to start making their new little flat a 'home' over the coming weeks. Knowing that so many people cared and that so much support was out there gave Elpie and Rosita both peace of mind and the strength to keep fighting on. We want to thank everyone who contributed to this fund and sent kind wishes to the family from the bottom of our hearts. Donna Bonifacio & family x
