Story
I'm hoping to raise at least £1000 towards a mobility scooter so that I can be more independent and still try to enjoy life without damaging myself. The whole £2000 would be amazing but if I can raise half I may be able to get a grant for the rest.
I need a comfortable road worthy scooter for my height that also folds to fit into a standard car boot and have found one that covers all bases.
This would make a huge difference to my life and I can't tell you how grateful I would be for any help to achieve this.

Thank you to everyone who donated. These funds will go towards my scooter in the new year. Hopefully I'll get help and will not need to raise more.

8 years agoI'm so grateful for the support I've received so far! I'm looking at which charities to fill in a grant application for and have my eye on a few second hand sites in case I'm allowed to use those with grant money. So I'm still aiming for the £1000 on here at this point. I'm dreaming of some more freedom and just being able to enjoy a few of my old walking spots once again. Thank you x
