Ty’s Legacy has been created in loving memory of Tyrece Balcha whose life was tragically taken through violent crime. This is a long term mission to keep Tys honour going, he was such a loving, kind hearted boy and was always helping people.

As little as £5 on a monthly subscription would help provide someone with a much needed lunch when going through the justice system.

When a family loses a loved one in this way, they are not only faced with unimaginable grief but also with immediate financial pressures. Everyday life doesn’t stop. There are bills to pay, food to buy, journeys to make, and, in many cases, weeks spent attending court proceedings while trying to cope with overwhelming loss.

After experiencing this reality ourselves, we realised there are many financial gaps that existing support cannot always cover. Ty’s Legacy has been created to help bridge those gaps and provide practical financial support when families need it most.

Every penny raised will go towards supporting victims’ families through assistance such as:

* Filling the gaps where other organisations or grants are unable to help.

* Helping with food and lunch costs during lengthy court trials.

* Contributing towards essential household bills in circumstances where a family is experiencing financial hardship.

* Providing supermarket and food vouchers.

* Helping with essential food shopping and other immediate necessities.

We understand that every family’s circumstances are different. For that reason, all requests for support will be assessed individually, taking into account each family’s financial needs and situation. Our aim is to ensure support reaches those who need it most, while treating every family with dignity, fairness and compassion.

Our promise is simple: no victim’s family should feel forgotten or face these challenges alone. While we may not always be able to meet every request in full, we will always do everything we can to help as many families as possible with the funds available.

Ty’s Legacy is about turning heartbreak into hope. By donating, you are helping relieve some of the financial burden faced by families after violent crime, allowing them to focus on what matters most—grieving, healing and remembering the people they love.
