Story
Christmas can be a struggle for a lot of parent, the struggle is even harder if a child is in hospital over the christmas period.
This book pledge is to raise money so that ALL children staying over the festive period at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital will be able to unwrap lot of book gifts.
I want to raise £1000 because this total then allows me to give the childrens wards an extra £600 in free books. With this total all children staying at the hospital will be able to take lots of new books home and other children who are admitted will also have access to lots of new books in the communal areas of the children's wards.
I am a Usborne Organiser and our books start from as little as £1.99. Any donation really does help. £1000 will help get books for all ages, from birth to young adults, as well as get books right through the range. This includes craft and activity books, sticker books, education books, language books, books with toys, books to further a childs reading level (which is compatiable with school colour banding) and so much more.
If you donate you may also be offered to become a special delivery elf. This would include to deliver the wrapped books on a set day to the childrens wards at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital.
