I've raised £1200 to Help fund publishing my children's books

For most of my life, I have dedicated myself to volunteering within deprived communities, in my role as Play Worker and community volunteer, I played an active and spontaneous role in improving the lives of others, and this is where my passion lies. I have always loved reading and writing and from a young age; have dreamt of becoming an Author. Now, finally, after raising my family, I have been able to publish my first book, which is called: Lily Say's No! and is part of a six-book series. Each book covers a taboo topic or two, told in a way, that has drawn the reader directly into the scene and in turn has raised questions which then encourage children to talk to their adults about what has happened in the story, and how they feel, what they would do, etc. All my Illustrators are children, who live within the areas I have worked - Each Illustrator is featured on the book they have completed, along with a self portrait and Illustrator biography. The first six book series covers topics such as: Parental Bereavement; Sexual Abuse; Attempted abduction; Neglect and racial bullying. I would love for my books to feature in schools (becoming part of the N.C); children's centres; community centres; libraries; social services buildings; doctors surgeries- the works- every child across the world needs to read these books, our children need to be clued up pertaining to their level of understanding; about the dangers in the world, but I need your help, to finish publishing my books, please.
