Story

In light of recent events we have decided to mobilise with books.

We are raising £600 for the six Folkestone Secondary schools. These books will contain positive roles models for young men, talk about consent, give young men confidence to make good decisions to keep everyone safe and empower young women to speak out and assure them change can happen.

Change has to come from our young people and we believe these books are a starting point. We realise it is a drop in the ocean, but the Ocean is made up of many drops. Will you join us to help make a change? To help to put an end to male violence on women, sexism and misogyny by giving young men the confidence to make good decisions and empower young girls to speak up.

Our children are the future, they give us hope that change can and will happen. We want to support them.

Please like, share and donate if you can.

All money will be used to purchase books and donate them to the following Senior schools in Folkestone:

The Folkestone School For Girls, The Harvey Grammar for Boys, Brockhill Park School, Folkestone Academy, Turner Free School and the Beacon School.

Our Book titles are not all confirmed, but here is a selection below:

Orange Boy by Patrice Williams , Boys who dare to be different. A Guys Guide to Feminism.

Please comment with other book titles that are relevant.

Thank you
