We intend to provide Saturday School sessions for pupils in the IG11 and surrounding areas at KS2 in the subjects of English, Maths and ICT one-to-one via using E-learning.

A large proportion of pupils in the South East and indeed nationally, are currently performing far below the government standards, despite the lowering of the national marking scheme.

By utilising nationally set curriculum and industry recommended KS2 material to work with pupils one-to-one, Book Wormz IG11 intends to ensure pupils' continued development of their individual capabilities, competencies and level of understanding to perform and achieve the national standard and above for year 6 SATs via E-learning.

We need £3,500 as an initial sum to purchase hand held units, software and electronic security for pupils to conduct their session and also to ensure they are fully capable of using electronics to administer their studies. t is expected that these pupils will then leave us to achieve successful year 6 SAT results.
