This winter season is the most unfortunate one for many people in Cebu City Philippines, who will have to spend their holiday without electricity, a water supply, or phone signal for at least a month as they try to recover the power lines that were destroyed by Typhoon Rai, potentially the most powerful one they've experienced since the 90s, with several hundred confirmed deaths so far.

If you can spare any funds, they will go to locals from Cebu City who are distributing money where it's needed, the goal is to fund power generators which are being shipped there, run water wells as water is of utmost importance there, and to allow them to buy food from neighboring islands that weren't affected by the typhoon in order to distribute to those in need in Cebu City. We have direct connections with some of these residents who have been affected and are now trying to help others there, with the help of any funds we are able to raise.

Any donations, no matter how small, will make an everlasting difference to lives that have undeservedly suffered as a result of this disaster.
