Story

Like most of the U7 team's ideas it started in the pub, only this idea seems to be quite popular and has grown within the football club and wider. We want to continue the fantastic achievements the club have had this year and are committed to giving the kids the best and safest environment possible to continue to enjoy their football. With this in mind coaches, parents and sponsors have come together to run 10k in the Harborough Carnival of Running to try and raise £1,000 which the club would like to put towards a defibrillator in the clubhouse. We hope it's one of those items that never needs to be used, but want to make sure we have it available should the situation ever arise. As you can see from the photo some of us will be running for a good time, while some of us will be praying we see the finish line, but we are united in the aim of reaching the target. We hope that you are able to support us with whatever you can, to help show why the winners in the Leicester Mercury Sports Awards "club of the year category" are so special and important to the community.

Last count we have made it to 12 runners, so new photos will follow to include everybody, and if anybody else would like to join us or support on the way round we would be grateful.

Race day is the 8th of June so we will be raising money up to that point.

A massive thanks from all taking part and the club for your ongoing support
